As work-life partners, Maya and Duránd Davis are pioneering a family-founder revolution.

Their collaboration is led by a deep keen imagination, curiosity, and a conviction in advancing the capability of humans across many scientific disciplines; a philosophy that drives the company's evolution.
Together, they are building Labs as a conduit to move humankind forward.

Alfred R. Duarte
Chief Polymorphic, Product and Platform Officer (C3PO)
As a founding team member, Alfred Duarte joined Duránd and Maya Davis at a formative moment in Labs’ evolution, becoming the company’s third employee. His arrival marked the point at which Labs’ vision moved its architecture into executable systems.
Alfred’s partnership with the founders is defined by polymorphic execution—the ability to operate fluidly across software engineering, product architecture, design systems, services, and platform infrastructure. Working in close tandem with Maya and Duránd, he translated Labs’ long-term ambition into the company’s earliest agentic development frameworks, AI foundations, and product-platform language.
Together, the three form a complementary leadership core: vision, ecosystem, and execution. Alfred’s role encompasses engineering, design and product, ensuring that Labs superintelligence-supercompany aspirations, autonomy, and human-enhancement systems are built, scaled, and experienced delightfully.
